Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort falls under the Moderate Resort category and is located in the Disney’s Animal Kingdom Resort Area.  The resort is themed as an oasis on the shore of Lago Dorado. The influences of great Spanish explorers, artists, writers, and architects can be found around the entire property.  Guests are transported to the theme parks, as well as Disney Springs, via complimentary buses.

Three leisure pools can be found around the property.  These are located in the Casitas, Ranchos, and Cabanas sections.  The Dig Site is the sprawling and main pool complex themed after the Mayan ruins.  The Lost City of Cibola pool features a 50-foot pyramid as well as a 123-foot-long water slide.  The largest hot tub on Walt Disney World Resort property can be found here as well as a kiddie pool. Additional amenities found at this resort include a jogging trail, volleyball, a playground, arcade, and self-service laundry rooms.

There are a multitude of room categories from which to choose when staying at this resort.  The Standard View, Water View, and Preferred Room each include 2 Queen Beds and sleep up to 4 Adults.  The Preferred Room is located near El Centro, Dining, Shopping, and Transportation. The Junior Suite and Casitas – 1 Bedroom Suite both feature 2 Queen Beds and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa and can sleep up to 6 Adults.  The Casitas- Executive Suite can accommodate up to 8 Adults with 1 King Bed, 2 Queen Beds, and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa. There are also a number of room categories that only sleep up to 2 Adults and feature a King Bed.  These include King Bed, Water View – King. Both the Preferred Room – King and 1 Bedroom Suite – King can sleep up to 4 Adults and feature 1 King Bed and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa.

The Gran Destino Tower which is brand new opened its doors in July 2019.  There are also many different room categories here as well, including some with Club Level Access.  The Tower – Standard View and Tower – Water View both include 2 Queen Beds and accommodate up to 4 Adults.  The Tower – Standard View – King Bed and the Tower – Water View – King Bed both sleep up to 2 Adults and feature 1 King Bed.  There are 4 different room categories that feature Club Level Access. The Tower – Standard View – Club Access includes 2 Queen Beds.  The Tower Deluxe Suite – Club Access and Tower – One Bedroom Suite – Club Access both have 1 King Bed and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa. All three of these categories hold up to 4 Adults.  The Tower- Presidential Suite – Club Access sleeps up to 8 Adults and includes 1 King Bed, 2 Queen Beds, and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa.

A multitude of dining options awaits guests staying at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.  Table Service locations include Barcelona Lounge, Dahlia Lounge, Maya Grill, Rix Sports Bar & Brill, the new Three Bridges Bar & Grill, and Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood.  Quick Service locations include Cafe Rix, El Mercado de Coronado, Laguna Bar, and Siestas Cantina.
