Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is one of 2 water parks at the Walt Disney World Resort and is a great way to cool off after a hot day in the theme parks. This water park is themed around a fictional tropical paradise that has been ravaged by a massive storm. The park features a signature wave pool along with several fun water slides and inner tube rides.
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool is North America’s largest wave pool and the park’s signature attraction with swells up to 6 feet tall. Jump right in at the deep end or enjoy it from the shallow area with sandy white beaches. Are you itching to surf the big waves? You can book private surf lessons and surf 100 waves over a 3-hour session!
Bay Slides – These slides are perfect for beginners, and are a mini version of the Storm Slides with gentle slopes. Guests must be 60” or shorter to ride.
Humunga Kowabunga – 3 side-by-side enclosed water slides that take you for a near-vertical 5-story drop! Guests must be 42” or taller to ride.
Storm Slides – Choose from 3 different body slides with their own twists and turns on your way to the 3-story drop!
Castaway Creek – Drift away on an innertube relaxing 2,000-foot-long lazy river that winds its way around the perimeter of Typhoon Lagoon.
Crush ‘n’ Gusher – This gushing coaster-like raft rise is one of the park’s signature attractions. Propelled by water jets, you’ll slide through sudden drops and snake sharp turns on your way to the bottom. Guests must be 48” or taller to ride.
Gangplank Falls – Get swept away by rushing rapids down a 300-foot-long water slide on a 4-person inner tube. Parties with fewer than 4 people may be paired with other riders.
Keelhaul Falls – Hit the whitewater rapids in your one-person innertube as you rush through caverns and waterfalls.
Mayday Falls – A thrilling raft ride with rapids that race you through caves, under bridges and past thundering waterfalls.
Miss Adventure Falls – Hop on to your 4-person raft as a conveyor belt takes you to the action. This fun raft ride is the longest ride in the Disney water parks!
Ketchakiddee Creek is a splash area for children 48” and shorter. Kids can play in the shallow pools with by whimsical crocodiles, squirting seals, and playful elephants. Then they can explore mini waterslides, splash in a cave with a waterfall and take aim with a water cannon aboard the leaky tugboat S.S. Squirt.
