Disney’s Yacht Club Resort falls under the Deluxe Resort category and is located in the Epcot Resort Area. Disney’s Yacht Club is reminiscent of the grandeur found at a New England-style yacht club and is fittingly located on a Crescent Lake.
The nautical-themed resort shares amenities with its sister, Disney’s Beach Club Resort, located right next door. Guests are transported to the theme parks, as well as Disney Springs, via complimentary buses and boats. Guests can also walk to Epcot or Disney’s Hollywood Studios as well.
Stormalong Bay, the resorts massive 3-acre outdoor water recreation area, is easily one of the best pool areas out of all of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels. The ship-themed water slide is one of the highest hotel water slides found on property. Also found here are a lazy river, 3 whirlpool spas, an elevated tanning deck and two kiddie pools including one with a miniature waterslide. In addition to all of this, there are also 3 all-ages quiet pools that can be found throughout the resort. Additional amenities found at this resort include the Ship Shape Health Club, poolside cabana rentals, motorized boat rentals, tennis, volleyball, jogging, an arcade, and self-service laundry rooms.
The Standard View, Garden or Woods View, and Water View room categories can all sleep up to 5 adults. The sleeping arrangements in each of these rooms can vary. There are also room categories that include Club Level Access. Club Level amenities include secured key access to the club-level lounge, serving refreshments and snacks between 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily, access to Concierge Service, and complimentary health club access. The Standard View – Club Level, Garden View – Club Level, and Water View – Club Level can all sleep up to 4 Adults. The bed arrangements in these categories can vary as well. The 2 Bedroom Suite – Club Level Access sleeps up to 6 adults and includes 2 King Beds and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa.
Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts include a number of dining options. Beach Club Marketplace, Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar and Grill, and The Market at Ale & Compass are all quick-service locations. Ale & Compass Restaurant and Beaches & Cream Soda Shop are both casual dining table service locations. Cape May Cafe is a character dining buffet while Yachtsman Steakhouse is the Signature Dining that can be found at these resorts.
