Disney Cruise Line Has Changed the Itinerary for the Disney Fantasy September 21st Sailing

This afternoon Disney Cruise Line sent out emails to guest on the Disney Fantasy sailing for Saturday, September 21 heading to the Eastern Caribbean notifying them of a change in itinerary due to Tropical Storm Jerry. The emails stated the ship will now be taking guests to Cozumel, Mexico, on Monday, George Town, Grand Cayman on Tuesday and Falmouth, Jamaica on Wednesday and Castaway Cay on Friday Western Caribbean instead visiting Tortola and St. Thomas.

The following update was posted to their website tonight:

“Tropical Weather Update; September 19, 2019 – 10:30 a.m. Disney Fantasy – Saturday, September 21 – We have been closely monitoring Tropical Storm Jerry. Based on the storm’s forecast track and the possible impact to the Eastern Caribbean over the next few days, we have made the decision to change the Disney Fantasy, September 21, itinerary to visit ports in the Western Caribbean. Instead of visiting Tortola and St. Thomas, the ship will now visit Cozumel, Mexico, on Monday, George Town, Grand Cayman on Tuesday and Falmouth, Jamaica on Wednesday and Castaway Cay on Friday. The safety and well-being of our guests and crew members is our highest priority. We appreciate our Guests’ understanding regarding this necessary itinerary change.”
