Disney Wonder Reveals a New Look

Its a “Wonder-ful” day to talk about some magical enhancements that have taken place aboard the Disney Wonder! Just last week Disney Cruise Line revealed the new French Quarter Lounge aboard the Disney Wonder. Inside the lounge, you are transported to the jazzy world of Princess Tiana in the French Quarter.

The new lounge is just steps away from Tiana’s Place Restaurant and is inspired by the Disney animated film “The Princess and the Frog.” Designed as an “outdoor” space, guests can enjoy live music and specialty drinks just like they are spending the evening in the French Quarter.

Throughout the lounge, other inspired details include a full-sized streetcar on the St. Charles line – the same trolley that Tiana rides in the film. Authentic wooden bench seating creates a cozy place to sit, listen to music and experience the ambiance. Step aboard the handsome streetcar which is the picture-perfect spot for your family memories.

“The bar is a focal part of the lounge with New Orleans-style wrought-iron adornments and shutters. In addition to offering specialty cocktails, nonalcoholic beverages and coffees, the bar also displays elements inspired by the popular character, Dr. Facilier. A mural on the wall is painted with Dr. Facilier’s shadow and his business card from the film – another cool photo spot! A door in the area is based on the entrance to Dr. Facilier’s shop, with signage and three flickering “candles” overhead.” – Courtesy Disney

Just for adults, the Cove Café and Signals Bar have both been reimagined. During the day you can enjoy a coffee in the cozy atmosphere of the Cove Café and by night enjoy wine or a cocktail there or at Signals Bar just steps away. The new lounges have been given trendy upgrades and a more modern look.
