Downtown Disney District is the Disneyland Resort’s center for shopping, dining, and entertainment outside of the parks. The area opened back in 2001 as part of the resort’s massive expansion that also included the additions of Disney California Adventure and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Since then the district has evolved to become a popular nighttime spot for resort guests and locals.
Downtown Disney connects Disneyland Resort’s two theme parks with it’s three onsite hotels. The area stretches from the Esplanade on the property’s west side to the Disneyland Hotel. The area contains 21 Quick Service and Table Service dining locations serving everything from burgers and shakes to fine Italian cuisine. There is no admission fee to enter the district and is open to the public. We’ve compiled a list of all dining locations and a little bit about them, to help you find the perfect bite to eat on your next Downtown Disney visit.
