Liberty Tree Tavern at a Glance

Liberty Tree Tavern is a Table Service restaurant located in the Liberty Square area of Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. This spot serves a menu of classic American dishes in a Colonial New England setting. This restaurant is one of the park’s most popular dining locations for its all-you-care-to-enjoy menu and comfortable homey setting.

Liberty Tree Tavern is modeled after early Colonial towns like Williamsburg Virginia. The dining spaces are lined with dark wood panels, ornate chandeliers, fireplaces, and portraits from America’s early years. The restaurant is divided into six dining rooms, each named after an important figure in U.S. history: Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, John Paul Jones, Paul Revere, Betsy Ross, and George Washington. Each dining room also features a signature artifact relating to the person it is named for.

Liberty Tree’s menu is a celebration of homestyle fare served on large sharing platters for the whole table. For dinner, guests enjoy a family-style offering of Roasted Turkey Breast, Pot Roast, and Oven-roasted Pork with Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, Herb Stuffing, and House-made Macaroni and Cheese. Salad and Toffee Cake dessert are also included. Servers regularly visit tables and replenish any dishes as needed. Sort of like a buffet that you don’t have to leave your table for. At lunch, the same family-style menu is offered as well as a menu of separately priced items like Meatloaf, Fish & Chips, and Turkey Potpie for those that do not want to partake in the all-you-care-to-enjoy option. A selection of wine, beer, and specialty cocktails are available as well.

As with all Table Service locations at Walt Disney World, reservations for Liberty Tree Tavern are accepted beginning at 180 days prior to arrival and highly recommended. The location accepts some Disney Dining Plans and will require 1 Table Service credit per person. A credit card is required for your reservation and a $10 per person no-show fee will be charged if you don’t show up or cancel at least 24 hours prior.
