New Enhancements to FastPass on My Disney Experience

Walt Disney World just released an update to the FastPass reservations section on My Disney Experience. In the past, if a guest wanted to make changes to their current FastPass reservations, they were only given the option to search the system and choose from a large list of attractions and return times. While the system was fairly easy to use, it could be a bit frustrating wading through the menu. With this new update, we’ve gotten that much-needed improvement allowing guests the ability to change the attraction or stick with the current attraction and just modify the return time.

With the new update, you’ll want to locate your current FastPass reservations in the “My Plans” section of the app or website. You will then see a full list of your plans and reservations for your upcoming visit. Locate the FastPass reservation you’d like to modify and click on it.

You will be presented with a page listing the reservation, applicable guests, and ride information. You will also see two links marked “Change”. One under the name of the attraction and one next to the reservation return window. Clicking under the attraction name will allow you to pick a new attraction and time, and clicking on the one next to your return window will allow you to search for a new time.

To change the attraction, you will then be asked to confirm all guests you wish to include. Then you will choose a new available attraction and time from the menu that follows. You’ll then need to review the change on the final page and confirm.

To change your return window, but keep your current attraction, you’ll need to confirm the guests included as well. From there you’ll see a menu that lets you pick the hour you’d like your new reservation to be closest to. There are also recommended available times that you can pick from. Once you review and confirm, you’re all set to hit the rides!
