Hilton Buena Vista Palace Disney Springs

| | |

When booking a Walt Disney World vacation we often look at several factors to decide which resort to choose. Location to the parks, the value of the resort, amenities available to guests, room size, and many other considerations are made before choosing the perfect place to lay your head while on vacation.

Often times one of the best values is overlooked! Right near the best shopping and dining in Disney are 7 Official Disney Springs Resorts offering exclusive benefits not available outside the Walt Disney World resort area. The Hilton Buena Vista Palace is one of these incredible resorts!

This past weekend I was lucky enough to have spent 2 nights at the Hilton Buena Vista Palace, the closest resort to Disney Springs. When I arrived, the very first thing I noticed is how easy it was to get to Disney Springs! There was a walkway bridge right outside the property that let out into Disney Springs. As my Lyft pulled into the property I was immediately shown first-class service! From the attendant that opened my door and offered help with my bags, to the lobby staff greeting me with a big smile.

The lobby is beautiful! There is a huge area for guests to sit and relax or mingle with a drink from “Sunnies” the lobby bar. Directly off the bar is a quiet lounge that has a very blue vibe featuring a gorgeous pool table and more seating. There are also private cozy little coves right off the lounge that open up on to a balcony that overlooks the property.

Citrus 28 is the resorts quick service location. It has more than any other resort I have been to! They had a bulk candy bar, custom-blended Starbucks coffee, pre-made food, grab and go snacks and drinks, and so much more! There was also a soup bar that featured 3 different types to choose from that doubled as a oatmeal bar in the morning.

For the adults, they have a section you can grab your favorite bottle of wine from Once Upon a Wine! This was a nice option to grab and bring back to the room. Take a look at the videos from Citrus 28 below!

I was lucky enough to stay in one of the resorts King Size Disney Springs View rooms! There is really no way to describe how beautiful the view was. You have incredible nighttime views of the whole Disney Springs area and the pools! Check out what the room had to offer:

  • King size bed
  • Sitting area with double sofa bed
  • Private balcony
  • 50-inch HD TV & DVD Player(there is a DVD rental machine in the lobby)
  • Walk-in shower
  • In-room coffee maker
  • Gorgeous views!

One of the best features of this resort is the pool! Every time I see it, I am taken away to a tropical paradise. It’s incredible! The best part, it’s heated! The fun, beach-style entry Float Lagoon feels like a warm bath as you enter and also comes with complimentary floats! You can float your cares away in between park visits or if you just want a day to relax by the pool.

Another perk is private cabanas available for rental. Off to the side of the pool area is a turfed lawn that has a ton of outdoor games for guests to play. Can Jam, Corn Hole, soccer, lifesize Connect 4 & Jenga, hula hoops, and more! Take a look at the beautiful Float Lagoon and play area here:

If you want to grab a bite or drink to take to the pool or enjoy at the bar, “Shades” offers a nice pool-side menu! The menu is very basic, but the food we did have was tasty! I also enjoyed a drink while we went to sit by the pool. YUM!

For breakfast, I went to try out LETTERPRESS, the onsite sit-down restaurant. A vibrant, fun atmosphere with incredible lake views. The kitchen’s claim to fame is its scratch-kitchen cooking style specializing in American comfort food with a touch of southern flair! Every Sunday, Disney characters join for breakfast! You will get to enjoy your meal with Minnie Mouse and friends! Sundays, 7:00 am- 12:00 pm, and characters attend between 8:30 am and 11:30 am.

I will be uploading a full review soon but for now, check out how cool this place is!

I had an incredible time at this resort! I have not one negative note to make. I was able to get to and from all of the Disney parks with absolutely no issue. All Disney Springs Official Resorts offer complimentary bussing to and from the parks and Disney Springs. However, you don’t need to wait for a bus to go to Disney Springs as it is directly across the street!
