The end has finally come for Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Just this week Disney announced they would be ending the show that takes place daily in front of the Chinese Theater. On March 4th, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will open bringing major congestion and crowds to Hollywood Studios.

The Star Wars production, which parades a variety of the franchise’s villains, droids and other characters onto a stage in front of the theme park’s Chinese Theater, will wrap up its run on February 22nd. That is just 10 days before the railway opens to guests.

We can only guess that they may be replacing the show with something else in the future, at this time no additional plans have been announced.
