This past Friday was the first Villains After Hours of 2020 and we were on hand to take part in all of the big bad fun! This year there was new food, a new parade, and fewer crowds! All of these are big wins for me.
I came to Magic Kingdom a little early and got my wrist band around 6pm and wandered around the park to watch Happily Ever After and enjoy the park for a little while before the event began.
Disney Villains After Hours takes place from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM on the following dates:

One of the best parts of the event is the after-hours exclusive food and drinks! I was lucky enough to be at each booth just as the event began. Take a look at some of the treats from the night that I was able to grab with friends!

This year the event had a special twist on the merchandise offered. Taking a cue from the Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure, this year the merchandise featured our favorite baddie from Nightmare Before Christmas! There was only one passholder shirt offered this year, and it was in blue. Not a big fan of it… Last year they offered a Tervis featuring Hades that is my favorite coffee holder. This year, no such luck. They did have the same Hades phone cases from last year featuring Hades, but they were older iPhone models and didn’t have one for the new 11.
New this year, the Villains’ Cursed Caravan will join Maleficent—the fire-breathing dragon—as she slinks her way through the park twice nightly. Be on the lookout for Ursula, Gaston, Oogie Boogie, Cruella DeVil, Captain Hook and more as part of this wicked procession.

There was a castle dance party all night long that kept the energy up at the hub! He played a mix of all types of music and was interactive with the crowd. Truth be told, I spent a ton of time here dancing! The DJ had a whole Hades vibe going on and kept the night mood fun and exciting.
The Villains Unite the Night castle show was the same as last year with just a few small additions. Hades was the host of a stage show at Cinderella Castle starring Hades, Meg, The Queen, Maleficent, Jafar and other hilarious hoodlums.

The night also offered some fun themed photo opps with Villains like Scar, Oogie Boogie, and more all over the park.

The final farewell at midnight was so fun! Anastasia, Drizella, Lady Tremaine, Cruella DeVil, The Queen of Hearts, and Gaston were encouraging guests to “GET OUT!” This whole impromptu show was funny and the longer you stayed, the funnier it got. Check out the clip below.

The Disney Villains After Hours event was incredible. We had less than 15 minute wait for any of the attractions all night long, the food was fun and tasty, the entertainment was perfect, and we got to spend the night with our favorite baddies!
