Where to Find Breakfast at EPCOT

Breakfast at EPCOT

Walt Disney World’s EPCOT park is a celebration of innovation and the cultures of the world. Here you can take a trip into space and visit 11 different cultures all in one day. EPCOT is also undergoing major changes to the entire park, with a reimagining set to debut in 2021. These changes can make maneuvering around the park a bit of a challenge, even for seasoned Walt Disney World visitors. Your first question when you arrive at the park might be “Where can I get a bite to eat?“. The last thing you want is to hit that dreaded exhaustion wall before you’ve had the chance to experience everything the park has to offer. Luckily, EPCOT has an array of Table and Quick Service breakfasts to help you fuel up and be ready to tour the park.

Akershus Epcot

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Up first is the popular Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway pavilion. This Table Service restaurant hosts a Character Dining Experience featuring Disney Princesses and an all-you-care-to-enjoy menu of standard breakfast fare. The theming of the location is centered around a medieval castle and guests are served in family-style where large portions of all menu items are brought to the table to share. Menu items include selections like scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potato casserole, cinnamon rolls, and fresh fruit.

Guests can look forward to visits from a group of Disney royalty while enjoying their meal. Although the lineup is subject to change, princesses like Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, and Ariel make regular appearances. The theming mixed with the ability to interact with popular princesses make this a great alternative to the popular Cinderella’s Royal Table dining experience. It’s still a popular dining reservation, so we highly suggest reserving your spot beginning at 180 days prior to arrival. Akershus is eligible for some Disney Dining Plans and requires 1 Table Service dining credit per person for all meals.

Garden Grill

Garden Grill Restaurant

This next location offers Character Dining as well as a special look inside one of EPCOT’s classic attractions. Garden Grill is a Table Service restaurant located in The Land pavilion serving a family-style menu of American breakfast favorites. The location features a rotating dining room that revolves to give bird’s eye views of some of the scenes featured in the Living With the Land attraction. In the morning, guests can enjoy Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Harvest Breakfast with visits from a few of Disney’s iconic characters like Mickey, Chip, Dale, and Pluto dressed up in their farm gear. Menu options include scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, Mickey waffles, and a gigantic cinnamon bun that could feed a small family!

The circular dining room slowly rotates throughout the meal allowing guests to get an inside look at scenes and animatronics from the rainforest, farmhouse, thunderstorm, sandstorm, and prairie, adding a special ambiance to the experience. Seating mainly consists of half-circle booths and tables facing the outside of the restaurant, and elevated booths behind them, giving most guests a relatively good view of the scenes. Reservations are accepted for Garden Grill beginning at 180 days prior to arrival. Garden Grill accepts some Disney Dining Plans and requires 1 Table Service credit per person.
