According to the Orange County Register, new plans for the Disney Vacation Club property at Disneyland were revealed during a town hall webinar for Anaheim residents on Thursday, May 21.
New artist renderings and blueprints were unveiled by Disney for a planned 350-room Disney Vacation Club time-share tower at the Disneyland Hotel. The plans show a tiered section with grand villa rooftop balconies, poolside garden units and an intriguing interactive water feature.
This town hall presentation did suggest that the Disneyland DVC project is still in the works despite Disney’s plans to pause $900 million in construction and refurbishment projects at its theme parks as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.
At this time there are no plans have been announced to reopen Disneyland since they closed in March. However, Orange County California did just move into a phase 2 reopening allowing shopping and some dining to reopen. Hopefully, a Disneyland reopening announcement will come soon.
