Three Broomsticks at Universal Orlando’s Hogsmeade

Three Broomsticks

A visit to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort can be a truly magical experience for fans of the books and films. There are so many ways to experience what it’s like to be a powerful witch or wizard, you’ll inevitably need a break to refuel your spell casting. If you’re in Hogsmeade Village in Universal’s Islands of Adventure, you’ll want to stop at the impressively themed Three Broomsticks. This rustic tavern serves traditional British fare to all hungry visitors (even muggles!) for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Three Broomsticks

Three Broomsticks is a Quick Service dining location located right inside the main entrance to Hogsmeade. The location is famous in the Harry Potter stories for being the place where Harry tried is first Butterbeer. While the outside of Three Broomsticks is rather unassuming compared to the rest of the land, the inside decor is a faithful recreation of the magical tavern that looks like it was used in the films. Diners can enjoy their meal surrounded by towering wood beam ceilings, massive chandeliers, and impossible staircases leading to mysterious destinations. The subdued lighting and magical atmosphere provide a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the parks. In the back of the building, you’ll also find the Hog’s Head pub. This bar section serves Butterbeer and Pumpkin Juice as well as a selection of beer, specialty drinks, wine, spirits, and mixed drinks.

Great Feast from Three Broomsticks

The menu at Three Broomsticks offers traditional British dishes as well as a few standard theme park offerings. For breakfast, guests can choose from hearty plates like the Traditional English Breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage links, black pudding, English bacon, baked beans, grilled tomato, sautéed mushrooms, and breakfast potatoes. There are also lighter options like the Continental Breakfast with fresh fruit served and croissants accompanied with assorted jams. Lunch and dinner feature offerings like the Great Feast with garden salad, rotisserie chicken, spare ribs, corn on the cob, and roast potatoes. I highly recommend pairing your meal with a frosty Butterbeer for the true Wizarding World experience!

Ordering at Three Broomsticks is an easy enough process, even for muggles! The restaurant usually has a few knowledgable wizards and witches on hand with menus and to help direct you to the registers to order. From there you will be directed to the pickup counter to grab your food. Three Broomsticks has open seating, so you are free to choose your table. Each dining area has its own hidden treasures and easter eggs that add an extra level of fun to your dining experience.

Butterbeer at Three Broomsticks

Three Broomsticks being a Quick Service location means that reservations aren’t required for dining. At lunch and dinner, they aren’t accepted at all. Breakfast can be a bit different though as Universal offers a special “Wizarding World of Harry Potter Exclusive Vacation Package” for diehard wizarding fans that include breakfast reservations at both Three Broomsticks and Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida. You can still enjoy breakfast without a reservation, but these reservations guarantee a hassle-free morning meal at both dining locations, and the cost of the meal is included in the package price. With both Wizarding World lands still major draws for park guests, this can be a great way to ensure you get to experience both restaurants during your stay with minimal hassle.
