If you’re getting ready to tackle Universal Orlando Resort, you’re going to need to prepare yourself for a full day of activities. Starting off the day right with a heaping dose of caffeine is the most common way to make sure you’re awake and ready to hit the parks. For those of us that consider coffee a mandatory aspect of any morning, a fear might set in when you realize that you might not be able to easily snag that coveted cup of joe before a long day at the resort. Fear not java-addicted traveler, for there is ample coffee to be found at Universal Orlando Resort offering everything from a standard cup of coffee to elaborate espresso concoctions.
All of Universal Orlando Resort’s on-site hotels offer a coffee bar for guests. Most of these are actually Starbucks locations that serve the same menu you’ll find at your local location. Offerings include brewed coffee, hot and iced tea, espresso beverages, and pastries. If you have a Starbucks card, you can use it at any of the Universal Starbucks locations to purchase and earn stars, but you won’t be able to redeem your collected stars for a free item as you would at a normal location. All Universal Orlando Resort rooms at Premier, Preferred, and Prime Value resorts also come equipped with single-serve, pod-style coffee makers. Coffee makers are only available in the suites at Universal’s Endless Summer Resort hotels and not included in standard rooms. These makers come with a selection of coffee pods as well as sugar, sweeteners, and creamer. Coffee supplies are replenished by the hotel’s staff during regular cleanings.

Theme Parks and CityWalk
Coffee in Universal Orlando’s theme parks is primarily Starbucks as well. Both Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure contain a Starbucks location as well as CityWalk. At Islands of Adventure, the Starbucks can be found at the end of the entrance walkway that takes you through the Port of Entry area. At Universal Studios Florida, it can be found in the New York area along the waterfront and in between TRANSFORMERS: The Ride 3D and Rip, Ride, Rockit. CityWalk’s Starbucks is conveniently located near the escalators and across from the Cineplex movie theater. There are unfortunately no options for coffee at Universal’s Volcano Bay waterpark. If you’re planning to spend a day there, you’ll want to hit the coffee shop at your hotel before arrival.
