Disney Updates Face Mask Policy to Allow Mask Removal for Outdoor Photos

| | |

Disney has been listening to guest concerns and evaluating what needs to be changed to offer a safe, and fun, atmosphere.

Today, while we were on the Disney site we noticed a new change in the face mask policy!

Beginning April 8th guests will be able to take photos outdoors and remove their masks. Here is the update:

“Face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and up) and Cast Members, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine. Please bring your own face coverings and wear them at all times, except when dining or swimming. You may temporarily remove your face covering while actively eating, drinking or taking an outdoor photo*, but you must be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing during this time. (*Beginning April 8)”

Previously, you were asked to keep a mask on for photos in the parks.
