Walt Disney World Annual Passholders Will No Longer Receive Free MagicBands
One of the perks of being a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder is that I get to order a new MagicBand every time I renew. It is complimentary(as long as I choose from the basic colors) or it is a small fee to upgrade to one of the specialty bands. I’ll admit, I have more MagicBands than I could ever possibly wear.
As Disney increases their online tech abilities and expands their technology through the My Disney Experience app, they have decided to phase out of the complimentary MagicBands for Annual Passholders.
Today, Annual Passholers received an email stating they would no longer send out free bands after August 16th, 2021.
