When you visit Universal Orlando Resort, you’re bound to want to capture all the memories that you can. When you purchase a My Universal Photos package, you can do just that!

My Universal Photos is a program that allows guests to collect, view, and share their photos taken throughout the parks at the Universal Orlando Resort. This includes Universal Studios, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay. Guests then have the option to purchase individual photos or a photo package. You can also pre-purchase the photo packages.

How To Get It

If you do not purchase a photo package in advance, you will need to find one of the photographers that will greet you when you enter Universal’s Islands of Adventure or Universal Studios.

They will take several photos of your travel party and then give you a yellow My Universal Photos card. It has a QR code on it.

You will need to keep this card with you throughout the day and have it scanned after riding various attractions to obtain your ride photos or when you see photographers. This card can be used throughout the parks but you will need to get a new one each day.

Alternatively, you may choose to purchase a photo package. I suggest doing this in advance as there is a discount when you do so.

If you do not pre-purchase, you can take the card that one of the photographers in the parks gives you and go to the Universal Photos store to purchase it.

What is a My Universal Photos Package?

These packages include your ride photos throughout the parks and various other locations.

There are options for 1, 3, or 5 days available. Each one gives you unlimited digital downloads of your photos taken in the parks and more!

In addition, there is a package for annual passholders that gives you all photos for the whole year.

When you purchase one of the photo packages a team member in the store will help you set up an account with the My Amazing Pictures mobile app. You can view and share your photos using this app.

You will also receive some printed photos of your choice, depending on the package that you select. In addition, there are discounts on additional printed photos and photo gift products.

Using My Universal Photos

To use this service, you need to obtain a yellow card with a QR code. Whether you have purchased a photo package or not, you will need this to obtain your photos throughout your vacation.

When you purchase a photo package, you will also receive a My Universal Photos-themed lanyard. This is quite convenient to have on hand when you are collecting your photos throughout the day.

When you exit an attraction that has a ride photo, you will need to see a team member to review your photo. Then, scan the QR code, as this will add it to your card.

There are a few other places in the parks that offer photos where you will need to scan your QR code – see the list below.

It is very important to remember that if you do not have a photo package, you will need to purchase any photos that you would like before the end of the day, as each card is only good for the same day. In addition, you will need to get a new one for any subsequent photos.

Where Are The Photos Taken?

Using My Universal Photos, you can add your ride photos from several attractions. These photos are in all three parks, including Volcano Bay. You need to use the card given to you and scan the QR code to add each photo. With the package, these photos will then be added to your account where you can review and share them.
