The 50th Anniversary celebration at the Walt Disney World Resort is about to begin! You may notice that there is some new decor in the parks, including statues of some beloved Disney friends. This is your complete guide to the “Disney Fab 50” character collection.
The “Disney Fab 50” is a collection of golden statues that are now on display across all four theme parks. The statues feature beloved characters from Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel. Plus, there are two theme park favorites – Orange Bird and Figment! Many statues feature pairs of Disney friends.
The statues will be in place for 18 months, throughout the “Most Magical Celebration on Earth”.
In this guide, we tell you who to look for and where so that you can see the whole collection on your next visit to the parks. Then, check out our checklist and maps, located at the bottom of this page, to help you find them all! These can be printed or saved right to your phone. It’s a fun activity for all ages!
There are 19 different statues found in the Magic Kingdom, with 25 characters total.
Lady and the Tramp is the first one that you will see when you enter the park. This one is found in Town Square, near the center where the flag pole is located.
As you enter the Hub, head counterclockwise to find Goofy and Pluto in the center near the Partners statue.
Next, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are in the center of the Hub.
Then look to the right toward Tomorrowland. Dumbo and Timothy Mouse are ready to fly! Jaq and Gus are on the castle turret to the right.
As you continue past Cinderella Castle, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck are located directly across from Mickey and Minnie. Chip and Dale are also in the center of the Hub, near the Partners Statue.
As you head out of the Hub toward Liberty Square, look up in the trees to find Tinker Bell. She is a bit hidden so look closely!
As you leave the Hub on the path heading toward Crystal Palace, be sure to look for that silly old bear Pooh and his buddy Piglet. This one is just adorable!
In addition to the statues found in the Hub area around Cinderella Castle, there are some found throughout the different lands.
Look up as you enter Adventureland! The mischievous Abu is hanging out on the right side of the sign! Then, be on the lookout as you approach the Sunshine Terrace. Orange Bird is tucked away on one of the porches sitting on a perch.
In Fantasyland, Pinocchio can also be seen skipping along, near Pinnochio Village Haus. Then, look for Lumiere and Cogsworth as you walk toward Be Our Guest.
As you continue through Fantasyland, the Mad Hatter and Cheshire Cat are both located near the Mad Tea Party.
Last but not least, as you head to the Purple Wall in Tomorrowland to get that selfie, look up for the mischievous 626! Stitch is hanging out on the wall between the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor and Tomorrowland Terrace.
At EPCOT, there are 6 different statues with 9 characters total. Most are located as you enter the World Showcase.
However, everyone’s favorite purple dragon, Figment, is in Future World, ready to encourage that spark of imagination! Look for him as you walk toward the World Showcase on the main pathway.
Right before you decide whether to head to Mexico or Canada, there are several Disney friends waiting to greet you!
Up first is the most lovable snowman, Olaf! He is accompanied by the adorable little fire spirit Bruni from Frozen II.
Nearby, look for Pua and Hei Hei from Moana.
Rocket Raccoon and Baby Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy are also in this area. Last but not least, don’t go un poco loco but look for Miguel and his alebrije Dante!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
The statues at Disney’s Hollywood Studios are all located in front of the Chinese Theatre at the end of Hollywood Boulevard. There are 7 statues with 9 characters.
As you approach the Chinese Theatre, look to your left to find Edna Mode and Frozone. They are of course looking incredible and with no capes darling!
Close by, be on the lookout for both BB-8 and R2-D2. These two are also located near the Dockside Diner.
To the right of the Chinese Theatre, Joe Gardner from Soul is ready to play his favorite tune. Nearby, Sebastian and Flounder are ready to dance along under the sea. They are located right in front of the Brown Derby restaurant.
Then, right in front of the Chinese Theatre, look for Woody and Bo Peep.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, all of the statues are located in front of the Tree of Life. There are 4 statues total with 7 characters.
