“Hey, Disney!” Function for Home and Disney Resort Hotels! Big news in the Disney technology advancement efforts at the parks as Disney announces “Hey, Disney!” a new function for your home and Disney resort hotels. Many of us are used to using the phrase “Hey, Alexa!” in our homes using our Amazon devices. Now you can take Alexa with you to the parks with new technology and a partnership with Amazon.
As part of the kick-off to the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort, Disney announced a brand new project with Amazon called “Hey, Disney!” The technology is a custom assistant, using Disney stories, characters and more – all built on Amazon’s Alexa technology.
Whether you’re at home or in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel room, soon you’ll be able to use an Echo device to interact with your favorite Disney, Pixar or Star Wars characters. “Hey, Disney!” will make your vacation easier, more meaningful and more fun … and it will entertain and delight you when you’re at home, too. It raises the bar for immersive storytelling with authentic character voices, unique audio environments inspired by Disney films and destinations, and more than a thousand magical interactions to discover.
