Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Disney World

| | |

This year guests will be able to celebrate New Year’s Eve at Walt Disney World!

Due to COVID-19 New Years celebrations were skipped last year. The pandemic put a damper on crowding and the parks still weren’t offering fireworks or any type of celebrations. Today Disney opened hours through January 4th at Walt Disney World! Good news, you will be able to ring in the New Year at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

All three parks are open until midnight. These hours will likely extend as we get closer to the even, previous years the parks closed at 1 am on New Years.  Generally Animal Kingdom does not offer New Years hours and this year they are closing at 7pm. There are no fireworks allowed at Animal Kingdom, so it stands to reason this year will be no different.

There have not been any details released yet about the New Years events or plans but we could guess fireworks would be at midnight at all three parks. We will update this post when we have more information!
