The Disney Genie+ service launched in October 2021 with the goal of helping guests have their “best Disney day”. If you are feeling a bit unsure about how to utilize this new service, you are not alone! This is your quick guide to navigating Disney Genie+ with a printout of the steps to take to use it!

To use Disney Genie+, you must purchase the service either in advance or the day of your visit.

Then, you choose your first return time starting at 7:00 am on the day of your visit. All experiences are subject to availability.

Keep in mind, there are over 40 attractions included when you purchase Disney Genie+. Check out the list here. In addition, there are individual Lightning Lane Attractions available for purchase. Guests can purchase up to two of these per day starting at 7:00 am for on-site guests and at park opening for off-site guests.

Once you have selected your first attraction, you can continue to select additional attractions throughout the day. If you choose your first one and the wait time is more than 2 hours after park opening, you can choose another one before that return time.

For example, if you select Slinky Dog Dash as your first attraction but you have a 2:30 pm return time, you will be able to choose another return time for a different attraction two hours after the park opens.

Alternatively, you may choose another attraction each time you scan in for your return time.

Using this strategy allows you to maximize your time in the parks while using this new service most effectively.
