More Dining Options to Reopen at Walt Disney World

There is some exciting news from Disney Dining today! More dining options are reopening at the Walt Disney World Resort. In addition, there are some updates regarding dining at some guest-favorite restaurants.

Restaurants Reopening

There are three fan-favorite dining locations that are ready to reopen their doors at the Walt Disney World Resort. The chefs at each restaurant have been preparing to serve guests fan favorites as well as enhanced creations upon reopening.

Flying Fish

On January 27, the chefs at the Flying Fish are ready to welcome guests back. Located at Disney’s Boardwalk, this restaurant offers signature seafood dishes and steak options, all with unrivaled flavors.

The entrees never disappoint and include succulent offerings from the sea.  The Seafood Pearl Pasta consists of all the favorites – shrimp, lobster, scallops, clams, and mussels. The Plancha-seared Scallops are another option, accompanied with savory grits, sweet corn, and Peppadew emulsion.

After indulging in dinner, there’s no better way to conclude a trip to Flying Fish than with a sweet finish. To finish your meal, the Cocoa Breach accompanied with delicious vanilla custard is the perfect treat for any chocolate lover.

The Turf Club Bar and Grill

At Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, it feels like you have returned to the races. Starting on February 3, guests can head to the Turf Club Bar and Grill. Known for its American flavors in every dish, this restaurant does not disappoint.

Start your meal off with a bang as you enjoy the New York Cider-braised Mussels appetizer flavored with garlic, chorizo, fennel, Fresno chili, and apple cider topped with a grilled baguette.

Then, move on to the next course with the Grilled Pork Chop or Braised Lamb Tagliatelle. Both entrees have a place in the winner’s circle of flavor. Then, finish your meal with one of the delicious desserts, like the New York Cheesecake. It’s sure to have you in the Winner’s Circle!

Jiko – The Cooking Place

On Feb. 17, head over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge to savor the tastes and flavors of African, Indian, and Mediterranean cuisine at Jiko – The Cooking Place. Be sure to try the Seafood Tagine as you enjoy this unique restaurant again. Filled with prawns scallops, squid, and Littleneck clams, this dish is a dream come true for any shellfish lover!

For a perfectly sweet finish, the returning Kilimanjaro dessert is pretty and tasty too. Made with decadent dark chocolate mousse, pistachio financier, pink peppercorn meringue, cacao nib crunch, and ras el hanout pineapples, there’s nothing better.

Favorites are Back

In addition to the reopening of the restaurants above, guest favorites are returning. Cape May Café at Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Ale & Compass at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort are bringing back beloved offerings.

At the Cape May Café, guests once again will feast an all-you-care-to-enjoy, buffet breakfast starting on Feb. 15. With tasty items such as pull-a-part bread with vanilla sauce, beef hash, and an omelet station, this restaurant is the perfect way to embrace all of the New England vibes. We also can’t forget the Mickey and Minnie waffles!

As dinnertime approaches, the buffet options continue with delicious offerings like cornbread, seasonal harvest salad, seafood boil, and a daily carving station, just to name a few. Guests can also choose to upgrade their meal with snow crab legs or even a whole lobster, both purchased by the pound. Bring your appetite to this buffet because chances are, you will want it all!

Next door, at Disney’s Yacht Club, the breakfast offerings are expanding and exciting new lunch options are coming at Ale & Compass. On January 31, start off your Disney day with one of the delicious à la carte entrées, like Blueberry Bacon Pancakes. In addition, don’t forget to enjoy the buffet filled with dazzling additions to the entrée, including pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt parfaits, overnight oats, and house-made cheddar biscuits with country gravy.
