Complete Guide to Festivals at EPCOT

| | |

One of our favorite things to do while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is to explore everything that EPCOT has to offer. There are four festivals that take place throughout the year at this park. This is your complete guide to Festivals at EPCOT.

Epcot Festival of the Arts

International Festival of the Arts

This festival is a celebration of the visual, creative, and performing arts. Lasting only about six weeks, it is the shortest festival but may also be the most underrated.

Lasting for approximately six weeks, the International Festival of the Arts typically starts in early January and lasts until late February. It typically ends just prior to the Disney Princess Marathon.

The weather during this time of year can be a bit unpredictable. Overall, it is generally the coolest time of year in Florida. Because of this, it is highly recommended that guests dress in layers. You will find that the mornings and evenings can be quite chilly.

Favorite Food Booths:

The food booths at all of the EPCOT festivals are subject to change each year. Sometimes, favorite items are removed and new items are added. However, the menus are often announced just prior to the event to help guests plan. Many of the booths are quite popular with guests so they return each year, along with the food items served.

We have a few favorites from this festival.

Some of our favorites include:

  • Pop Eats!
  • L’Art de la Cuisine Française
  • Refreshment Port

Each of these food booths includes delicious choices for guests of all ages. They are also presented in an artistic way!

The Expression Section gives guests of all ages the opportunity to paint and contribute to a mural in EPCOT. Each guest is assigned a square to paint and the finished product is pretty cool to see!

Head over to Future World for the Kids’ Chalk Art. Local artists are there to work with kids and help them create their own masterpieces on the sidewalks of EPCOT.

Then, explore the World Showcase and be on the lookout for Figment! He is hiding in each country in famous works of art. This scavenger hunt is available for purchase in select locations each year and once completed, guests can return it for a prize.
