Guide to Disney Cruise Line Dining

| | |

When you sail on a Disney cruise, there is a lot to see and do during your vacation. One of the highlights will definitely be the food! This is your complete guide to dining on Disney Cruise Line.

What is Included?

There are several different dining options to choose from when you sail with Disney Cruise Line. Many of these options are included with your cruise fare. You have choices for each meal, whether you want something quick or a full breakfast. There are three different sit-down dinner options that you will get to enjoy as a part of your rotational dining schedule.

Room service is also available 24 hours a day. Are you craving Mickey bars at midnight? Maybe you would prefer a cheese platter to go with your wine? On a Disney cruise, that won’t be a problem!

Rotational Dining

You may be wondering – what is rotational dining? There are three main dining rooms onboard a Disney cruise ship. Each night, guests rotate between these dining rooms. Your servers rotate with you, which means that you have the same serving team each night. This is a great feature because this allows the wait staff to get to know you and your preferences. It feels like a very personalized experience!

There are also two options for your dinner time – main dining and late dining. Typically, the main dining option is around 5:30 pm while the late dining in around 8:00 pm. You choose your dining time when you book your cruise, based on availability. If your preferred time is not available, you can request to be added to a waitlist. Families with young children often choose the earlier mealtime while adults or families with older children may opt for the later meal. You do not need to make reservations for any of the main dining rooms.
