Walt Disney World Attractions for Young Children

| | |

The Walt Disney World Resort is a vacation destination for guests of all ages. As you plan your visit, you may be wondering what the youngest visitors will be able to ride or do during their visit. This is your guide to Walt Disney World attractions for young children.

When someone asks this professor about the best age to take kids to the Walt Disney World Resort, I always give the same answer – any age is great! You may think that there is not much for younger children to do but that’s simply not the case. I assure you that you won’t soon forget your preschooler’s first ride on a rollercoaster or your toddler’s first meeting with Mickey Mouse. They may not remember, but I promise that you will! Tips and Tricks When Visiting with Young Children

  • If you are staying at Disney resort, it’s easy to take a break during the day if you would like to. Head back to the resort for naptime or a swim and you can always come back to the park in the evening!
  • If you don’t want to leave the park but are looking for somewhere for your kids to take a little break, a show is a good option! There are several options in each park that provide a rest from the Florida heat and may result in the nap that younger kids need after exploring the parks!
  • There is a baby care center in each park if you need to feed, change, or rest with your little ones.
  • If you have young children that are not tall enough to experience certain attractions, don’t forget about child swap! This allows everyone who wants to ride an attraction with a height requirement to do so.
