World of Color Returns to Disney California Adventure

| | |

The beloved nighttime spectacular, “World of Color” returns to Disney California Adventure next week. This beautiful show has delighted guests with its display of water, fire, lights, and music, combined with the magical touches that Disney brings.

The show was inspired by Walt Disney himself. It features the original theme song from “Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color”, written by the Sherman brothers. It includes a projected water screen, fountains of water that reach 200 feet tall, and beloved Disney characters, including heroes and villains.

The show returns on April 22, 2022, and there are some updates on how guests can view this popular show.

Virtual Queue

When “World of Color” returns, a virtual queue system will be added to experience this popular show. The virtual queue will only be accessible through the Disneyland mobile app.

The release of distribution times for the virtual queue begins each day at noon. For guests who obtain a virtual queue selection, a notification is sent instructing them to enter the designated viewing area. The viewing area is between two marked entrance points (Blue or Yellow). Guests should arrive starting 45 minutes prior to showtime.

Although the virtual queue for the show is not required, it is highly recommended. If the virtual queue reaches capacity, check at the Paradise Bay viewing area for walk-up viewing options.

Are you excited about the return of this magical show?
