Look Inside: The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Today, Disney “unlocked the door” to more than 200 new resort studios at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, providing a new opportunity for more villas and Disney Vacation Club “homes” at the Walt Disney World Resort.

In a setting inspired by a garden tea party, Bill Diercksen, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Vacation Club, shared dedication remarks and welcomed guests to explore the new resort studios. “Celebrated for its Victorian architecture and elegance, The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is one of our ‘grandest’ Disney Vacation Club resorts,” said Diercksen. In addition to the expansion, Diercksen also shared that new enhancements have been made to existing villas.

Just in time to conclude this special “tea party,” Alice, Mad Hatter and the White Rabbit joined the celebration and led the way to the magical key that revealed the first look at the new resort studios.

There is a room type for every family at The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The new resort studio features two queen-size beds and a daybed, welcoming up to five guests. Deluxe studios feature a kitchenette and sleep up to five guests. One- and two-bedroom villas include kitchens and large living areas featuring the comforts of home. Three-bedroom grand villas sleep up to 12 guests.

A touch of Victorian charm and splendor, along with easy access to the magic of Walt Disney World Resort via monorail, motorcoach and water taxi services, has long made The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa a favorite resort among Disney Vacation Club members.
