When you visit the Walt Disney World Resort, it is always fun to see all of your favorite characters. If you are traveling with someone who loves Disney Princesses, there are plenty of ways to fill your day with royalty! This is your guide to the Ultimate Princess Day at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Getting Ready
To start your royal day, you may want to experience a royal makeover. Luckily, it was recently announced that the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will soon be returning to the Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort! Children ages 3 to 12 years old will love being transformed into royalty by their very own Fairy Godmother-in-training with a variety of packages that include their choice of hairstyle, nail polish, and more. Some packages also include a choice of a dress or knight’s outfit.
In addition, here are a few other options to get some royal treatment.
There are several small businesses in Orlando that offer in-room makeovers for both adults and children. These services will come to your room to create some royal magic. There is a range of packages to choose from too.
The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is also an option if you would like to just get your hair done. Currently, the Character Couture makeover is not an option. However, the spa and salon are great alternatives to get some pampering!
Dresses are available to purchase at the parks, at Disney Springs, or online as well. It’s recommended to bring a backup outfit as well, as the full dresses may feel quite hot, especially during the summer months.
Dining Options
There are a few different restaurants that allow you to interact with Disney royalty. These character dining experiences are quite popular and can be booked up to 60 days prior to your arrival if you are staying at a Disney resort.
Cinderella’s Royal Table
This is one of the most coveted dining reservations at the Walt Disney World Resort. This restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is inside the castle. It is the only way to go inside the castle and is worth doing for a first visit, an unforgettable memory, or for anyone who loves Cinderella! You will even get to meet Cinderella.
Currently, Cinderella is the only princess at this character meal.
Storybook Dining at Artist Point
This restaurant is at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and offers a character meal for dinner. Come join Snow White, the Evil Queen, Grumpy, and Dopey for an enchanting meal in a beautiful atmosphere!
Shows
Disney Royalty can be found in many of the shows throughout the parks too!
