What is the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique?

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is an experience for children ages 3 to 12 years of age where they can feel like royalty during their Disney vacation and be transformed into their favorite Disney Princess, Hero, or Shining Knight. Children are greeted by their very own “Fairy Godmother’s Apprentice”. Then, they will be pampered and leave feeling as if they came straight out of a storybook. Children will have their choice of hairstyle, makeup, nail color, and accessories. Costumes are also available. There are several packages to choose from with different inclusions.

Theme Parks

At the Disney Parks, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique has been closed since July 2020. However, the much-anticipated reopening on both coasts is on August 25, 2022.

At the Disneyland Resort, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is located at Disneyland Park in Fantasyland, near Sleeping Beauty Castle.

At the Walt Disney World Resort, there are locations in the Magic Kingdom, Disney Springs, and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. At this time, the Magic Kingdom location will reopen but the others will remain closed.

Disney Cruise Line

When you sail with Disney Cruise Line, your child can enjoy this experience on any of the five cruise ships.

When To Book

If you are looking to book this experience for your child at one of the theme parks, it will be available soon. Typically, guests can start booking this experience 60 days prior to their check-in date. This experience is very popular so advance reservations are highly recommended.

If you are sailing on Disney Cruise Line, this experience is available when your booking window opens. It is quite popular and the best times go quickly. However, availability changes frequently. You may also be able to add or modify your reservation time once you are on board the ship.

Where Can I Book Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique?

To book the experience at the theme parks, go online to the Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland websites. Starting 60 days prior to check-in, you can schedule on the day of your choice.

A credit card guarantee is required to book. However, you will pay for the experience upon arrival. You do not need to choose the package that you want when you book the experience.

If you are sailing on a Disney cruise, you can book the experience online when your booking window opens. Alternatively, if you want to modify or try to add the experience once you are on board the ship, you can visit the boutique in person to do so.

The Experience

From the moment your child arrives at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, it is an enchanting experience designed to make them feel special and pampered! Children are greeted by their Fairy Godmother’s Apprentice and escorted back to the salon. Your child will get to choose their hairstyle and any other elements of their package such as costume and accessories. Additional items may also be available for purchase such as shoes or plush toys. With the reopening, Disney has also announced that additional options will be available for hairstyles and new costumes featuring some of the newest Disney heroes and heroines.

The cast members are very engaging and your child will be pampered every step of the way! The big reveal is one of the best parts of the experience, where each child is announced and presented to everyone in the salon!

Tips for Your Experience at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

• Children must be between the ages of 3 and 12 years old to participate in this experience and accompanied by an adult, 18 years of age or older. Each child may be accompanied by up to 2 guests to observe the transformation.
• Transformations will take 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the package selected. Children should arrive with clean and brushed hair.
• Theme park admission and a valid theme park reservation are required for the locations in the Magic Kingdom and Disneyland Park.
• You are permitted to bring your own costume or outfit and changing rooms are available. In addition, lockers are available for rental in each theme park.
• Take photos throughout the experience. At the Magic Kingdom, there are often Disney PhotoPass photographers available as well. Then, once your child is finished with their transformation head over to the Disney PhotoPass Studio, the Royal Portrait Studio, at Sir Mickey’s for a photo session. Plus, if you purchased Memory Maker, these photos will be included. There is no cost for the photo session.
• If you are celebrating a special occasion or have a special dinner such as Cinderella’s Royal Table, you may want to plan accordingly when scheduling your appointment.
