The Festival of the Lion King at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park returned a couple of months ago with an adjusted show. While it was great to have entertainment back in the parks, there was something missing… The fun and energetic Tumble Monkeys!
The full Festival of the Lion King show returned yesterday and reintroduced fan favorite performances from the Tumble Moneys and Flying Bird Dancers. The Tumble Monkeys are a troupe of performing gymnasts who take the stage during the show’s rendition of “Hakuna Matata” and have wowed guests since the show’s original debut back in 1998.
It is a fun and energetic ensemble you just have to check out for yourself! But, take a look at the Tumble Monkeys here with their first live performance back at the park!
It was s wonderful t be back at the full show.
The show continues to take place numerous times daily in the Harambe Theater in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Make sure you check your My Disney Experience app for showtimes.
