This year, the holiday season kicks off on November 12, 2022, and runs through January 1, 2023. During that time, the parks are transformed and the magic of the season awaits! In my opinion, it is one of the best times to visit Universal Orlando. Check out the details!
Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry PotterTM
In the Wizarding World of Harry PotterTM, both lands are transformed with festive décor and the magic of the holiday season.
In Diagon Alley, enjoy a hot ButterbeerTM as you browse the shops looking for the perfect holiday gift. Then, make sure you stop and watch Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees as they croon some wizardly holiday tunes.
Then, take the Hogwarts Express over to Hogsmeade. Make sure you stop and see the Frog Choir perform their own renditions of holiday favorites.
Before you leave the park for the evening, make sure that you stop and enjoy “The Magic of Christmas at HogwartsTM Castle”. This show celebrates the season and runs continuously from dusk until park close.
GrinchmasTM
During the holidays, Seuss LandingTM is filled with holiday charm and the Whos from Who-ville are ready to celebrate! If you are looking for some mischief, make sure you stop and meet the Grinch himself for a photo opportunity. He will be waiting for you at All the Books You Can Read Bookstore.
Then, make sure that you enjoy the music and fun of The GrinchmasTM Who-liday Spectacular. This epic re-telling of how the Grinch stole Christmas is sure to make your own heart grow three sizes!
Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s
In Universal Studios, you don’t want to miss Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s. This parade is amazing and features larger-than-life balloons and appearances from many of your favorite characters! Examples include Shrek, the Minions, and friends from Madagascar! Santa Claus also joins the fun at the end to celebrate the season, complete with snow falling!
Mannheim Steamroller
You won’t want to miss live performances from one of the best-selling holiday artists of all time. Mannheim Steamroller will perform spectacular scores and well-known holiday music on select dates at Universal Studios Florida.
This year, the concerts will be on December 3, 4, 10, and 11.
