The Oogie Boogie Bash at the Disneyland Resort is back this year with a bang! We had the opportunity to experience the beloved Halloween-themed party this year and it did not disappoint!

One of the perks of attending this event is the immersive treat trails. Around every corner is a new treat stop.

Each individual villain’s trail décor is carefully crafted to match that certain villain perfectly. The treat trails also offer unique character interactions that you won’t usually get during normal park operations.

Something not to be missed is the Frightfully Fun Parade! Twice during a bash night, this spooky fun cavalcade makes its way through the park. Followed by Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman, the Frightfully Fun Parade features Mickey and Minnie Mouse, all your favorite villains, and more. This parade is an Oogie Boogie Bash exclusive and something you won’t see elsewhere- so this makes it a must for us!

Like the parade and treat trails, we thoroughly enjoyed the on-of-a-kind character meet and greets. During the Oogie Boogie Bash is when you get to see special and rare characters. That’s not all, because this is a separately ticketed event, the wait times for these meet and greets are surprisingly low (almost as low as the attraction wait times). Also, you get free downloads of all of your PhotoPass and attraction photos throughout the event.

It’s safe to say we had a wonderfully spooky fun time and we will definitely make our way back to the Oogie Boogie Bash in the years to come!
