Disneyland After Dark: PRIDE NITE Announced for 2023!

| | |

The first official Pride Nite is coming to the Disneyland Resort! This morning, Disney announced that the event – which will celebrate the LGTBTQIA+ community and its allies – will be the next installment in it’s “Disneyland After Dark” series, taking place on June 13th & 15th at the Disneyland Resort!

Disney’s Pride Nite marks the first official Pride Event in Disney Parks history, although there have been numerous unofficial events held by fans each year, as well as limited snacks & photo ops from Disney for these unofficial events. As is typical with other “Disneyland After Dark” events, Pride Nite will be a separately-ticketed, After Hours event held at the Parks. According to Disney, the party includes “themed entertainment, Disney characters, one-of-a-kind photo opportunities, specialty menu items, event merchandise” and much more. In addition to the previously-stated special offerings, guests will also receive unlimited digital downloads of their attraction and/or Disney PhotoPass photos taken throughout the duration of the party, as well as a commemorative gift including a souvenir credential & event guide map. As is the case at most Disney After Hours events, guests can also experience shorter-than-normal wait times for popular attractions throughout the park.

Highlights of the themed entertainment for the party include a Pride Nite Cavalcade down Main Street featuring Mickey & friends dressed in special attire, an Ohana Dance Party featuring Stitch in Tomorrowland, a Pride Nite Dance Club along the Rivers of America, and country line dancing at the Golden Horseshoe. As always, there will be a bevy of impressively-themed photo backdrops, rare character meet & greets, & unique snacks and treats specially made just for the party (HELLO Berry Cheesecake Funnel Cake <3)

Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite officially runs from 9pm to 1am PT, although ticket-holders can enter the Park for the pre-party mix-in as early as 6pm PT. Prices begin at $139 per person. Ticket sales for the general public will begin on April 20th (no earlier than 9am PT, per Disney), while Magic Key Holders may participate in a pre-sale for tickets beginning on April 18th. Unfortunately, Magic Key Holder discounts do not apply for Pride Nite tickets.

Pride Nite will be the fifth installment in Disney’s “Disneyland After Dark” series for 2023, following Sweethearts’ Nite, Princess Nite, Throwback Nite, & Star Wars Nite from earlier in the year. If previous party success is any precedent, you’re NOT going to want to miss out experiencing Pride Nite for yourself!!
