EPCOT has been under some big developments over the past few years. The Walt Disney World Resort has reimagined this beloved park to feature many updates an retheming of some areas as well. Now, renovations are complete and EPCOT will finally open it’s CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza.

What We Know About CommuniCore Hall and Plaza

Located in EPCOT’s World Celebration neighborhood, CommuniCore Hall and Plaza offers beautiful new areas, fun entertainment and more.

Entertainment: Opening June 10th, the CommuniCore Plaza Stage will debut a sure-to-be fan favorite, “¡Celebración Encanto!”. Enjoy the music and story of the Family Madrigal during this fun and festive sing-along show.

On the opposite side of the Plaza, there will be another performance area that will be perfect for open-air type of entertainment.

Eats & Drinks:

Guests visiting this new area can delight in some popular eats and treats. The CommuniCore Plaza will be home to a new quick-service food and beverage stop, known as “Festival Favorites”. This location will be serving up festival favorites of whichever food and beverage festival is occurring at EPCOT at the present time! Debuting this summer, this eatery will feature treats inspired by the Disney animated film, “Encanto”. Guests will be able to enjoy a Cheese-stuffed Arepa, topped with a cilantro-lime crema and cotija cheese. And for dessert, try the Coconut Tres Leches: a vanilla cake, soaked with oat, almond, and coconut milk, and topped with toasted coconut. Yum!

 This new space at EPCOT is in a way, a world of possibilities! This hall has something for everyone and is ever-changing. Depending on the season, CommuniCore Hall’s features of art, entertainment, food, and more will adapt and change. This innovative space is home to a fabulous show kitchen where guests can watch culinary magic happen! The possibilities are endless within CommuniCore Hall.

This new space also offers the perfect meeting and greeting place for everyone’s favorite mouse, and his friends too. This bright and colorful space acts as the perfect backdrop for some photos with Mickey Mouse. Make sure you also check out the beautiful wall décor, showcasing different elements of EPCOT.
