Character Dining at Walt Disney World is a Table Service meal (sit-down option) accompanied by visits from Disney Characters while you stay seated at your table. Guests can enjoy their meal while the characters make their rounds, visiting each table and interacting with both adults and children. You can even once again hug your favorite pal!  During your visit, characters will make the rounds at least once, if not more than that.

Where do they offer character dining?

Previously, character dining was offered at all four Walt Disney World parks and across resort hotels on property. Since the pandemic, that has changed dramatically and we have adjusted our list to show JUST what is currently open at this time.

*Characters listed are the usual lineup guests can expect but please be aware that character offerings can and do change.

Magic Kingdom

Crystal Palace:

Characters back for Lunch & Dinner 9/20: Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore

Cinderella’s Royal Table: 

Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner: Cinderella- This is not a full-character meal any longer as Cinderalla only comes in and makes an appearance. *She does not stop and visit every table. *She is also not accompanied by any other princesses at this time.

When do you book dining reservations?

At this time, dining reservations open at 60 days before check-in. Character dining will be the first to go, so do not wait until the last minute! The easiest way to ensure you have the dining choices you’d like is to use a travel agent. We always have good luck getting the reservations we need with our Key to the World Travel advisor.
