Have you ever heard the phrase “everything Disney touches turns to gold?” Well, this certainly seems to be the case! This 90’s child got some BIG news this morning. One of my favorite Disney shows as a child is getting a reboot! Chip ‘N’ Dale: Rescue Rangers is coming to Disney+ soon! Not just that, it’s already begun shooting!
Disney worked hard to bring the iconic classics to a new generation… Whether it is a live-action interpretation, or animation, or a combination of both they seem to have huge success in recreating the greats to bring them to a whole new generation. I’ll never forget when my son came to me and said his “favorite new show” was Ducktails!
Once again, I am beyond excited to say that Chip ‘N’ Dale: Rescue Rangers, a live-action/animated hybrid film is coming! Apparently, it will be a new take on the iconic chipmunk duo. As soon as I saw the cast I KNEW this was going to be a HIT! John Mulaney and Andy Samberg will be starring and Seth Rogen will also have a part in the film as well!
If you didn’t have enough of a reason to be excited, a social media post from The Lonely Island — the comedy group of Saturday Night Live alums Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaeffer — revealed that filming on the project has officially begun.

Chip ‘N’ Dale: Rescue Rangers will be written by Dan Gregor and Doug Mand, with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’s Larry Fong serving as cinematographer. Are you as excited as I am to see this new take on Chip ‘N’ Dale: Rescue Rangers? If you haven’t signed up for Disney+ yet, you better soon!
