When cultivating your ideal adventure to these TV and movie themed immersive lands, you will want to map out what your ‘must do’ list as each park admission ticket offers different perks. For example, if you just received your acceptance letter to Hogwarts, you would need to get on the Hogwarts express via a park-to-park ticket.

Ticket Add-On Options

They also have ticket add-on that help cut down wait times for your favorite ride as well as shows with their express pass selections. An express pass lets you skip the standby line at most of their popular attractions and rides once per each experience. The second option is the express unlimited pass but instead of once per ride, it’s as many times as your adventurous soul can handle. These are great options, but have you ever considered a non-private or private VIP tour? I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the non-private tour and it was absolutely the way to go!

The Tour

We chose a one day two park experience for Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, which gets you a seven-hour tour with a designated tour guide including a ton of perks:

This of course is just an outline of what to expect for your day. Depending on your group and tour guide you may find yourself on many more rides with some special experiences sprinkled in. With this experience, you get exclusive backstage access, and will learn fun information about the attractions as well as some of the amazing scenes filmed on the property with receipts (photos and props) to prove it. You never know who you might bump into or what you may see in the backlots, offices, sound stages, or behind the scenes. This is kid friendly too. “Best friend Kyle” (sweetly designated by my eight-year-old daughter) really made the day extra special for her and left a lasting impression we will never forget.
