This year, Mardi Gras at Universal Orlando starts on February 5, 2022 and runs through April 24, 2022. There is so much to see and do at this festival. You do not want to miss it! The best part is, Mardi Gras is included with your theme park ticket purchase.
Mardi Gras Concert Series & Live Music
On select nights throughout the festival, head to the Music Plaza stage to see well-known and iconic performers take the stage. These concerts are included with your admission. Check out the line-up:

“Planet Mardi Gras” Parade
This year, the original parade theme “Planet Mardi Gras” combines Mardi Gras flare with astronomical elements including comets, rocket, martians and more. There are 6 new floats, in addition to the traditional floats. The beloved classics include the Jester and the King Gator, coming in at nearly 50 feet long! This parade will fill the streets of Universal Studios with upbeat music, floats and dozens of performers.
Flavors from Around the World
Universal’s award-winning chefs have prepared an amazing line-up of flavors from around the world for this year’s festival. Go on an international journey that your taste buds will love as you enjoy dishes such as the tasty crawfish boil, warm beignets, and more from around the world. To experience all of the tastes from around the world, purchase the specialty “Mardi Gras Food and Beverage” card. This will be available during the event.
Mardi Gras-inspired dining options are also available several other places throughout Universal Orlando Resort where festive cuisine is available. Universal CityWalk has special offerings at select venues including Pat O’Brien’s, Voodoo Doughnuts, and Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen.
At the Universal Orlando Resort hotels, are also joining the fun with special menu items at each resort. These items include New Orleans BBQ Shrimp and Dirty Rice at Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn & Suites and Dockside Inn & Suites; Chicken, Andouille and Shrimp Jambalaya at Universal’s Aventura Hotel; King Cake Pancakes at Loews Royal Pacific Resort and Shrimp Po’ Boys at Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort.
“Float Factory Warehouse” Tribute Store
