It’s time to spread a little magic as we ring in 2025 in style! Take a look at the 2024 New Year’s Eve schedule at Walt Disney World!
It’s that time again where we say goodbye to the year that has passed and welcome the promise of a new year! Walt Disney World loves almost any excuse to have a party and New Year’s Eve is hands down one of the resort’s most impressive celebrations. This year all four theme parks will have exciting celebrations for guests to ring in 2025 with fireworks, dance parties, and more. Let’s take a look at all the ways guests can celebrate the turn of the decade at this year’s festivities.
Magic Kingdom
The nighttime shows at Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom are easily the most popular evening events at the resort. For New Year’s Eve, a special fireworks show titled “Fantasy in the Sky” will take place to help countdown to 2025. This dazzling show will be presented at 11:50 PM and will span the change into the new year.
For guests who aren’t going to be able to make it on New Year’s Eve, a special presentation of the show will occur at the same time on December 30th. For those with little ones, or who aren’t night owls, “Fantasy in the Sky” will also be presented at 6:30 PM on December 30th and 31st. In addition to the fireworks countdown, guests can enjoy dance parties hosted by live DJs in Tomorrowland and Frontierland on both nights as well.
Epcot
On December 31, EPCOT will feature its longest hours of the year, welcoming guests from 9:00 AM (8:30 AM for early entry) until 1:00 AM! 🎆 The evening kicks off with the stunning new nighttime spectacular, Luminous: The Symphony of Us, at 6:30 PM. Then, ring in the New Year with a dazzling countdown fireworks show, Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration, lighting up the sky at 11:54 PM. ✨🎇 Don’t miss this magical way to welcome 2024! 🥂🎉
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Disney’s Hollywood Studios will operate from 9:00 am (early entry at 8:30 am) to midnight on December 31. Although it won’t feature a dedicated New Year’s Eve fireworks show, the extended hours offer more flexibility for guests spending the evening in the park. The park will operate as usual with the normal holiday celebrations.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
In years past, Disney’s Animal Kingdom was left out of the New Year’s Eve festivities. This year will be no different. The park will close at 6:00 PM on December 31st.
