If you didn’t post your Disney selfie to Instagram, did it ever even happen? One of the biggest trends at the parks has been finding new walls to take cute photos to post to social media. Disney has actually begun to market the new walls with specialty food and merchandise throughout the parks.
The trend began with the famous #PurpleWall located near the entrance of Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom. The pastel purple wall inspired thousands of photos to be taken and even whole Instagram accounts based on the photo opp location. Taking advantage of the trend Disney created a line of merchandise and drinks/snacks to make your photos “pop.” Check out these favorites we found here:
The “Purple Wall Slush” was a short-lived drink that wasn’t a hit with guests, but was a fun photo opp treat.
Tomorrowland has been undergoing renovations and as part of these new changes are some fun new paint jobs. Disney has run with the pastel trend and come up with some very cute new spots for fun pictures. The “Sorbet Wall” right next to Mickey’s Star Traders has created a buzz and so has the BRAND NEW “Mint Wall” that is right next door.
