New Parade Details
Of course, guests can let the good times roll every single night of the celebration with the Universal Mardi Gras Parade, featuring an ALL-NEW theme for this year. According to Universal, this year’s new parade theme will “bring the elements to life in six new, beautifully designed parade floats inspired by Earth, wind, fire, water, the sun and the moon.” These brand new floats will join alongside Universal’s traditional lineup of New Orleans-inspired floats to create the biggest Mardi Gras parade in Universal history, “complete with high-energy music, dozens of performers donning elaborate costumes and tons of beads.”
New Cuisine
Once guests have partied their way into an empty stomach, they can indulge in the Flavors of Carnaval, including 60+ menu items inspired by New Orleans favorites and iconic Carnaval flavors from around the world. Universal Studios Florida will be filled with new food kiosks “featuring delicious culinary delicacies inspired by various locations from around the globe – including the classic Fried Green Tomato Po’boy and fan-favorite fluffy Beignets from New Orleans, Chicken Schnitzel from Germany, Chilaquiles Verdes from Mexico and so much more.”
