Universal Studios Hollywood will soon require proof of vaccination for all guests over the age of 12. This afternoon Universal released a press announcement stating a new change beginning October 7th.
Take a look at the update here:
Important Information For Visits on or After October 7
We want to make you aware that LA County’s Public Health department has issued new requirements that apply to Universal Studios Hollywood. Beginning October 7, all persons ages 12+ must be prepared to show proof of full FDA or WHO approved COVID-19 vaccination (a full 14 days after final dose was administered), or a negative test taken within 72 hours of visit, prior to entry to the theme park. Persons ages 18+ must also show photo ID. Verification will take place when required based on theme park attendance.
Regardless of vaccination status, face coverings are required to be worn at all times, both indoors and outdoors, when visiting the theme park. At Universal CityWalk, face coverings are required to be worn indoors.
Guests under the age of 12 are not required to provide proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test, but, like all attendees ages 2+, will be required to wear a mask at all times inside the theme park.
More details about these updated guidelines are available on the LA County Website. For questions about visiting the park, please review our Safety Guidelines.
Thank you for your support and patience as we continue to navigate these challenging times and evolve our operations to address the latest policies.
