The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa are a deluxe villa resort and the 12th Disney Vacation Club property. Step back in time to the Victorian era with beautiful grounds and iconic architecture, inspired by the famous Hotel del Coronado in California.

Resort Overview

When guests think of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, luxury is a word that quickly comes to mind. The villas are no exception. The villas opened in 2013 and are located near the spa and wedding pavilion. They share amenities with Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, providing spacious accommodations and a central location at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Location: As one of the monorail resorts, this resort is just a few minutes away from the Magic Kingdom and is also a short monorail ride away from EPCOT. There are accommodations available with theme park and lake views, and there is also a walking path if guests choose to walk to the park.

Theme: This resort is known for luxury and is a staple at the Walt Disney World Resort. With immaculate grounds and iconic architecture reminiscent of the Victorian era, it is well known by all.

There are a variety of room types at this resort with various sizes and views, with 147 units in total. Each unit includes standard amenities such as WiFi, a television, a hairdryer, a coffeemaker, and plenty of storage. All studio units include a mini-refrigerator while units with at least one bedroom include a full-size refrigerator and a fully-equipped kitchen. There is also a washer and dryer in units with at least one bedroom.

The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa have a variety of dining options available at its sister resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. There are also several other options available nearby at other resorts located in the Magic Kingdom resort area as well as at the Magic Kingdom.

All Dining & Lounges

Cítricos

This signature dining experience features Florida cuisine with Mediterranean flavors. The menu includes options such as strawberry salad, guava-barbequed short ribs, and warm apple rose for dessert. There is also an award-winning wine list.

The restaurant has been recently re-imagined and inspired by Mary Poppins Returns with whimsical vibes and décor reminiscent of the movie’s animated scenes.

Narcoossee’s

Enjoy an array of fresh seafood, steak, and more at this waterfront signature dining experience. After dinner, head outside to enjoy the spectacular views of the Seven Seas Lagoon and fireworks from the Magic Kingdom, with the music piped in.

Grand Floridian Café

This restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Serving familiar favorites with a twist, it is a hidden gem with a beautiful view of the rose gardens and courtyard pool. Don’t forget to finish your meal with a sweet treat – there are a variety of goodies directly from the Grand Floridian Bakery.

Enchanted Rose

This lounge is newly re-imagined and inspired by Beauty and the Beast, with details throughout to remind you of the beloved fairytale. There is also an outdoor patio available.

Gasparilla Island Grill

This quick-service location offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner with mobile ordering available. There are a variety of options including Mickey Waffles, burgers, and more. Beer and wine are also available.

Beaches Pool Bar & Grill

You have your choice of wines, draft beers, or signature cocktails at this poolside bar, located by the sandy beach. Snacks and poolside service are also available.

Courtyard Pool Bar

This bar is located next to the largest pool at the resort. Take a swim and then a sip and then a sip of sangria, beer, wine, or a specialty cocktail. Snacks are also available through poolside service.

Beach Pool

This 111,261-gallon pool overlooks the Seven Seas Lagoon. It features a 181-foot-long waterslide and a calming natural springs theme. There is also an aquatic play area for little ones.

For added luxury, consider renting a poolside cabana. These cabanas are available for full-day rentals and include amenities such as padded lounge chairs, a smart TV with cable service, and more.

Courtyard Pool

This leisure pool is located behind the main building and offers a calm place to swim. The zero-entry pool is heated and features a whirlpool spa.

Add some luxury to your pool day with a cabana rental. These rentals to relax in style and include the following:

Motorized Boat Rentals

Explore the Seven Seas Lagoon and take in the theme park views and your natural surroundings. Rentals are available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the marina. Guests must be 18 years of age or older and will need to present a valid ID to rent a boat.

Fishing

Enjoy a guided fishing excursion to experience bass fishing at its finest. There are 2-hour and 4-hour excursions available, suitable for all ages. All excursions include:

How to get to each park:

While staying at the Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa you may be wondering how you can get to each park using the free transportation systems offered at Walt Disney World. We have it broken down for you:

  • Magic Kingdom: The monorail is available to take guests directly to the Magic Kingdom. There are also water taxis and a walking path
  • EPCOT: Take the monorail to EPCOT with one transfer at the Ticket and Transportation Center. Complimentary resort buses are also available.
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: There are free resort buses that offer transportation to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. These buses run approximately every 20 minutes from the resort until an hour after the park closes.
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom: There are free resort buses that offer transportation to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. These buses run approximately every 20 minutes from the resort until an hour after the park closes.
  • Disney Springs and Water Parks: There are free resort buses that offer transportation to Disney Springs and the water parks nearly every 20 minutes from the resort. Buses typically run for an hour after Disney Springs or the water park close.

 

Parking

*Guests who drive either their own vehicle or a rental car to Walt Disney World should know that a standard overnight self-parking fee of $25 per night will be applied to the guest hotel folio upon check-out. Valet parking is available for $33 per night.
