If there is one thing you should absolutely know about me, I LOVE Halloween! I love wearing spooky season pieces year-round. So, now that we have officially entered the spooky season, welcome to A Spooky Lovers Style Guide!
To kick us off, let’s talk dressing for the spooky season in the summer. Most of the designs being released right now are meant for cool weather. I cannot imagine wearing the super cute Her Universe Disney Varsity Jacket to the first Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party on August 9th when it’s like 90+ outside. So how does one dress spooky while also not inviting heat stroke to the party? Let’s look at our options shall we.
An excellent spooky accessory is the best way to express your style without wearing pieces designed for cooler weather. A spooky pair of Minnie Ears is a must, and there are so many options to pick from. I prefer an AOP (all-over print) to tie my look together, or a sold black is a great classic option. Not an ear headband person? No problem, the Mickey Pumpkin baseball hat will keep the sun out of your face and give you a spooky look. I like pairing my Mickey Pumpkin baseball cap with athletic shorts and a lightweight graphic tee. Have pierced ears? A pair of Halloween-themed earrings is another excellent way to add those spooky vibes to your look.
